The Nook Queso Competition!

Ticket purchases are $10 and give attendees access to both queso sampling and voting for their favorite queso. Tickets can be purchased online prior to the event, or can be purchased on-site day of the event.

(Ticket purchase is required for attendees in order to taste and/or vote on competitor's queso entries.) 

Tasting will take place between 3pm and 6pm on March 9th, 2024. 

Entering your queso into the competition is free, but space is limited!

Please be set up and ready to serve by 2:40pm so we can ensure everyone is ready and has everything they need.

The competition will close promptly at 6pm, at which point final votes will be tallied. The competitor with the most votes will be crowned champion of the NookBrewCo Queso Competition!

First place will receive bragging rights and a 50/50 split from ticket sales. (We will keep everyone up-to-date on how many tickets have been sold and total prize pot leading up to the event.)

 The Nook will provide:

• Bowls
• Tortilla chips
• Access to electrical outlets

Competitors will provide: 

• Their queso entry
• A way to serve their queso (e.g. - ladle, spoon, dispenser, etc)
• A way to keep queso warm (crockpot, chaffing dish, etc.)
• Optionally, competitors may also supply their own chips or garnishing to accompany their queso entry if desired!
